I just purchased my recently deceased Uncle's Honda Accord EX 96. So besides what I see and what is in the manual I do not know much more about the car. So today my husband when to go open the car after we have had it a few days and boy was it a surprise to have the car alarm go off.
It sounds like an aftermarket car alarm. But maybe someone knows more about this model. We don't have a fob or a remote, just the keys. Was there a factory car alarm available?
I just added more antifreeze and a few other things yesterday to it and didn't see anything that looked out of the ordinary like an alarm system. Where would they have installed?
Any other helpful hints on figuring this out? So far we are up a car but down a useless one.
