A lady hit the back of the U-haul trailer that I was towing. My husband and my 3-year old son were in the car with me. The at fault party’s insurance is now doing the not paying this and not paying that to us. We had the trailer towed to the nearest u-haul. The nice dining table set were kept in the trailer since the car can’t tow any more and not big enough to move them.
Today the adjuster told us the car is a total lost, and they will not pay for the storage of our furniture that did not make home. They will not pay for the tow because we failed to ask for a receipt. I am afraid to find out what the pay out for the car is.
I feel like being bully here. Do we have to accept the terms and condition of this insurance company?
