Captain Flamingo

Atomic Betty has a sister show called Captain Flamingo, about a boy superhero. It has a similar style but appears to be a comedy. Unlike Atomic Betty, it hasn't crossed the border from Canada into the United States. Is it going to be on in America soon?

I've never heard of the show before today, nor have I read any press releases saying anything about it coming to America, so I'm thinking not.

Even if it were, saying that it's reminiscent of Atomic Betty, one of the weakest, most generic cartoons to come down the pike in recent years (IMO), isn't much of a selling point. If it's anything like AB, our neighbors to the North can keep it.

Huh... Captain Flamingo is on YTV. Atomic Betty is on Teletoon... and Flamingo isn't from Atomic Cartoon either. They're NOT from the same creator and got NOTHING in common!

Captain Flamingo is about a kid, Milo, who decides to become a super hero (using prank props from his father's shop as crime fighting gadgets) to help kids in trouble. He has a VERY active imagination.

Hey...what do you know I was wrong...it IS from Atomic Cartoons :p I thought they only worked with Teletoon.

Still it's nothing like Atomic Betty. It's more along the line of parody and humor.

I've seen it a couple of times. Nothing sensational but it's 100 times better than Atomic Betty. At least seems more original. My actual problem with it is that the narrator is annoying and remember me to much to the PPG one.

That sounds like it's really good, too bad everyone here hates Atomic Betty. It's too bad it doesn't appear to be coming to U.S. television. Maybe it will come to home video.
