What are some reasons why capitalism is superior to communism? We are having a debate in my history class and I need some points to help our team. If you could include any historical facts or even data from present day to help us and possibly a description. As well, keep in mind we are in grade 10 so if you can make it some what simple and easy for us to understand that would be wonderful.

You can give some examples of succesful Capitalist countries: Haiti, Bolivia, Israel, Egipt, Siria, Argentina, Brazil, Nigeria,Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Tibet, Pakistan, Portugal, Greece, Morocco, Lebanon, Honduras, El Salvador. Mexico, Guatemala, South Africa, Parauay, Uruguay, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Algeria, Libia, etc, etc,

aaaaaaaaahahahaha!

In capitalistic countries homelessness is down, unemployment is down etc. Communism eliminates (are sure it's communism and not socialism?) competition which is the only thing besides the state that brings down prices, only the state never does it. Competition is the best thing for an economy and capitalism isn't perfect, but it's better than the alternatives provided by the monetary system.

Capitalism's one flaw that I can see is "scarcity" which is that the more you control the supply of something the more unfair advantage you have. So avoid that topic if you can. I'd say you look at the implications of competition realizing that America is NOT capitalistic, and hasn't been for a while.

The Bolsheviks were secretly behind Lenin so that commie behind me understands very little about his precious STAGED Russian revolution. Common knowledge nowadays
