...oppression into western culture.? Should western culture be capatalized or not? I use it several times throughout the paper. This is the sentance in full length. "Familiess are powerless to the forces that drive oppression into everyday life influenced by western culture."
 
Frankly, it's a horrible sentence to begin with. However, to your question -- no, not capitalized.
