This is a weird problem. I have a trashy Scosche(or what ever it is) cap that is only .5 farad. I'm planning on getting a new one but for now I would like this problem to be fixed. I have the power wire running from my battery to a distribution block that send another power wire to my amp and then another power wire to the cap.(Not sure if thats something that you need to know or not)
It has a digital reader on the cap and after I shut the car off it wont shut off. The only time it will shut off is when I wiggle around the power wire and ground wire, or after a couple hours.....I mean about 2 days with no start up of my car! Its really weird.
In my mind its just reading what the cap has stored in it and its not drawing power from my battery while the car is off. But I dont want to go off of what I think. This is my first cap so I might have done something wrong.
