Canvas question: Do staples make a difference?

For those who sell or buy or simply enjoy art painting on canvas: Does it make a difference to you if there are exposed staples in the back or not? It doesn't matter to me, because no one ever sees the staples as they just face the wall, but if I sell my work I want to be attractive to buyers.
