If I buy the CI package will I get all of the Canucks PPV ?

also does the Canucks PPV packge this year have any HD games?

If not I can't see paying that much for SD as PQ bites on RSN Pacific.....

If you live in BC or Yukon, no PPV if you buy NHLCI.
If you live elsewhere, you will see the Canucks PPV included with NHLCI.

Remember, NHLCI is to watch your "Out of Market" teams.

Markets:
Canucks: BC/Yukon
Oilers & Flames : AB/SK/MB/NW
Leafs: Ont (West of Pembroke)
Sens: ON (East of Pembrooke)/PQ/NB/PE/NS/NL

HABS: All games on RDS. No English market

Why are the games not available in HD?

In tbe past years, the digital cable and satellite companies that carry our PPV broadcasts were not able/willing to distribute an HD feed of our games. While we could produce in HD, we need to have the commitment of the carriers to deliver the games to their customers. This season all games will be produced in HD, and we are in talks with all carriers to determine who will commit to delivering the HD signal.

Are the CanucksTV PPV games included in the NHL Centre Ice Package?

No. NHLCI is designed to bring fans

their is a way for you to get Canucks ppv with Center ice living in BC;)

Change your address...and get your bills via e-mail;)

EDIT: also magnet is correct NHL CI is a OUT OF MARKET PACKAGE.

I saw an ad in the newspaper today that states that the Canucks PPV games will be in HD but those games will cost more than the standard def games.

But will these HD Games be carried by Bell TV as I'm sure it said available at Shaw in the write up...?

I just received my letter from Bell about the Canucks PPV package and it doesn't mention HD at all just says the games will be on channel 407 which isn't an HD channel.

You're probably right in that it was an ad for Shaw. However, I would guess and almost bet that Bell will also have the HD games and that the letter you received was written before Bell knew the games would have an HD feed. I think the feed comes from the Canucks and not from Shaw and the Canucks would provide both if Bell wanted them. However, this is only a "guess". You just never know with Bell...

Well I just talked to Bell CS and they said no HD for Canucks PPV so I just cancelled my PPV package for this year as I won't pay for the poor PQ that comes with Canucks PPV.

I've heard that all the Flames PPV games will also be in HD. I can only hope that Bell carries these on their Centre Ice channels. They dont seem to have a problem carrying the Bruins or Avalanche or Leafs in HD. The Senators even had their own HD PPV channel last season.
Judging by past experience, I'd say Bell has a better chance of carrying these Canucks and Flames HD games than Shaw.

According to canucks.com, the canucks tv pay-per-view page, Bell is going to broadcast in HD. See the link below.
