Can't use memory card with card reader on mac and PC

I have a memory card reader that has an mmc / sd slot and I've never had a problem using it with Mac and PC, can view everything fine. Since using an E60 and E61 I can't mount either of the memory cards using the supplied adaptors in the memory card reader on either PC (WinXP Pro) or Mac (10.4.8)

Any Ideas?

The Cards fit in to the card reader fine, the card contents doesn't appear on the computer. No drive letter is created. It's just not accessible on the computer. The access light on the card reader briefly flashes and then stops.

what is the capacity of the card? may be the size of the card isnt supported by the reader

i have 2gb miniSD that wont read in my card reader, but the standard 128mb reads fine in it

Hi guys, well this thread i started a little while a go is still on going. After a while I stopped using my e60 and when I finally went back to using it the problem wasn't there.

I started using the memory card in the card reader and all was fine. I have recently been installing apps etc and now the card won't mount again. It can't be a driver problem as it has been working.

I am currently using a PC card reader on my mac laptop. Can anyone shed any light? It's a pain when I want to change things to my tomtom install (updating speed cam etc).

Is it a setting i've changed or something I have installed? I'm 99% sure there is no password on the memory card.

You need to be 100% sure there isnt a password on the mem card. Double check it in the E60...
I put a pass on mine, and couldnt get it to read... This caused much aggrivation, until, I realized that the f_ing password was on...
Anyways, just make for super positive that there is no password on the card.
Best of luck,

Ok, if it was set, it would give you two options:
Change Password
Remove Password

At least that's what it does on mine, and it would make sense.

So yeah, it sounds like that's not your problem... The only other thing I would suggest, is using a different card reader and seeing if it makes any difference... I have two card readers, and the reason for that, is cause one doesnt work

Sorry I cant be of more assitance,
Phono
