Can't unlock bike! Ignition is stuck!

Hey everybody -- I'm in desperate need of some help here. I've got an '06 C50 and I can't get the thing to unlock. When I left work on Wednesday I noticed that it took a couple of "jiggles" to get the key to turn to the 'On' position from lock, but I didn't think anything of it until I went out this morning and couldn't get the key to go out of lock, in either direction - 'On' or 'Park'. I searched this forum and found a couple of tricks, which I tried with no success. So far I've tried all sorts of handlebar positions (far left, far right, everything in between) with no luck, and also tried with slowly moving the handlebar from left to right and vice-versa. I can verify that I've been pushing in the key, and I've even tried both of my keys.

I'm really in a pickle here! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
Have you tried to put a little grafite in the lock? and I mean just a little. The only other option I see is a new lock.
 
Call a locksmith.
It will be well worth the cost of a service call.
Be sure to tell them what the problem is BEFORE they come out.
Some places have one guy that specializes in autos/bikes.
 
Have seen lock units go bad when several {8-10} keys have been on a key ring, people had to replace the lock units {3-4} weeks to order replacement lock units.
 
you probably got it by now, but it comes with a thin piece of plastic covering the letters on the switch. I pushed mine into the lock with the key, and had to dig it out with a dental pic.
