Can't synchronize outlook email with Versamail

Guys I need your help! I've been trying to synchronize my Outlook email with the Versamail on my T3 for quite sometime now but with no luck.

Sync log report always shows the ff message:

The account Office mail has been configured as an IMAP client on either the desktop or the handheld, but not on both. This mis-configuration cannot continue through the HotSync operation.

This is after so many trial and error on changing the settings on both my PC and T3.

Kindly help!

Thanks in advance.

The error message would indicate that you have either Outlook or Versamail set up to sync to an IMAP account but one platform is set up to sync with another mail protocol, probably POP3. The first thing to determine is if Outlook is actually using an IMAP account. You can check this in Tools, E-Mail Accounts. The e-mail screen should tell what kind of account you have, I suspect it's probably POP3 but may be IMAP depending on your ISP and type of e-mail account.

The next thing to do is go into Versamail and change the account type for syncronization to match the account type in Outlook. I don't use Versamail so you'll need to look at the documentation to find out where this setting is.

Thanks Jim!

My Outlook email's protocol is IMAP. And this has been the protocol on my T3 as well. How about the Mail Service? Do you think it has something to do with my problem? I chose "Other" among the list

Another sync log report is this:
VersaMail - None of the accounts are configured for HotSync. Use the conduit to configure accounts to HotSync.[/]

My VersaMail on my Palm Desktop and on my T3 has been set to synchronize during hotsync ever since so why the log report says otherwise?

Also, on Account Overview on my Palm Desktop are the ff:

This account has been synchronized : YES
This account was last synchronized : *Unknown

*I guess this should indicate the date/time of last sync. I just sync a few minutes back. Why it says "unknown"?

Thanks again for your help!
