I have been a smoker for 11 years (started very young) and have tried on several occasions to quit without any success. It's a powerful addiction. If you really believe that you're not addicted yet, I would advise you to stop completely now, before the addiction takes a hold of you. The problem is, people are usually hooked LONG before they realise it, telling themselves: "I'll just smoke for another while and then I'll quit, I can take it or leave it". Then when the idiots go to quit, they can't. I say "idiots", not in an overly-judgemental way, as I am one of those idiots myself. One of the strongest anti-smoking arguments is the fact that the people who are most outspoken against it are people who have smoked themselves, or, more often than not, still DO smoke. Doesn't say much for the qualities of the product does it?
