Can't Seen to flash an LG VX5300, need help?

I sound like a noob with this post but anyways lol, here's the story:

Ok my friend has an Lg vx5300 and wants me to flash it, and if possible fully flash it. So I looked at the phone and it doesnt have a USB port? So I was like let me find out if the phone is flashable and i have it with me right now. I couldn't find the DLL for this phone and since it doesn't have a USB i don't even know how to write a prl into it? If someone can give me advice on what to do it would be great thanks

PS: Also, he told me that it had been flashed before but got another phone and then wants to go back to it? He told me that it wasn't OTA possible since it had been flashed before, wierd?

plug in cable. install drivers. maybe i'm missing something. dont think i have played with a 5300, but most of the lg's i have done have been sucessful. does it physicvally not have a data port/connector on the phone?

lol its not a "usb " cable its just the cable to that specific phone u can find them at best buy forlike 50 bucks for most phone cables..

yeah, guess i didnt fully understand our question- but the majority of the phone use a cable that go into the charger/data port. here i am thinking the phone you have was some crazy stuff with no port in it, and its a real simple thing afterall

I use the future dial serial cable for that phone i think Lol, but nahhh dude go to a wholesale place they're like $6 dollarz

i got lucky and never had to buy cables. Since i run a indirect center for sprint, i got the celebrite and futuredial and they send a montly package will all the new cables and drivers. i got rel lucky in that regard

Hi I read the vx5300 and since it is verizon the spc is already zero so i left it alone and try to write the prl and the prl bar goes to 50% than it keeps telling me Command Error! [PRL for NAM1] any help will be great thanks

Thanks but i am using that program and i make sure that it is on port 2 and prl is check on the left side. when i hit write it goes to 50% than give me that error again is there a hidden step i am missing?
