5+ years ago I randomly picked up from the library a horror short story collection. I can't remember the title or if it was multiple authors or one. I can only vaguely remember some of the stories. I'll give as much as I can:
1. A guy (I think with his wife) driving out west and stop a motel or gas station to rest. The other cars are covered in dirt as if they has been there years. At some point he looks in the cars a there are skeletons or something.
2. A brother a sister are living with their grandparents (because their parents were dead) on beach house. There is some creature killing animals (I think the girl had a pony) in the end you find out it was the brother who had killed there parents. He may have had something to do with animal killings. There was also a skull of some kind involved.
3. One story may have had a (retired) detective and something to do with a dock.
4. A family of sisters move into some town and murder some boys from the town. There was scene where somebody's genitalia was bit off.
There was a whole much more but I can't remember any of them or never got around to reading them.
