After having a urinary tract infection I seem to have picked up some some kind of painful spine/soft tissue in back disorder...docs don't know what it is. But generally the symptoms include: after falling asleep with no problem, at about 2:30am every morning I begin to have shoulder/neck/upper-mid backaches if lying in one position for more than a few minutes, also had sharp lower back and hip pain that have gotten better with time, walking and stair stepping, but still have weird aches in those areas, now my neck is becoming effected by this...lots of achiness there. Tried Ibuprofen/Tylenol and Celebrex all had almost no benefit and pain didn't get worse after discontinuing Celebrex after one month. Rheumy blood tests were all normal, don't have any swollen or red joints, no fever, some mild morning stiffness in knees and just a little in lower back but nothing I'd say is abnormal for a 40 year old who's been a bit hard on his body over the years, x-rays showed mild OA in hips and SI joint, lurabar MRI showed mild degeneration of one disc and one joint. This has been going on for 2 months and I'm a 40 year old active male (active up until this), normal weight with desk job...any ideas? Please help, I'm really having a hard time coping with this constant achiness, pain and significantly reduced mobility.
