Can't get Civilization IV Ancient Mediterranean mod to work!!! Help!?

I downloaded it from the TAM website [tam.ancient.eu.com/downloads], and I load up the mod and it comes up, but it just crashes.

I extracted the file into my mods folder.
I'm using Beyond the Sword if that makes a difference.
What am I doing wrong?!
