My CFS started with a virus. I was perfectly fine before that. I was depressed and eating lots of candy. I was not overweight. I was going through a divorce and I was going out with friends a lot and drinking more then usual. The depression and all the sugar must have wreaked havoc on my immune system. Then I caught a virus and that was it. I was never the same again. Started with extreme fatigue and body aches. Almost like flu feelings. then big stomach problems started. And then on from there. Candida shows up more in a stool test, but most regular drs. don't believe in candida unles you are a cancer patient or hiv. I went to natural doctors. It is a tough road with candida. Very hard to get rid of. You really have to stay on a low to no carb diet and supplements and a drug like diflucan. Look up on-line symptoms of candida. You will see. Good luck and let me know. lala
