Can't find a %^#$@ phone that works for me..

Guys, maybe you can help me.

A year ago I asked around for a phone that would suit me and was told that the LG VX9800 was the only one that would work as I wanted Verizon and a Candybar.

Well, since then, I've lowered my requirements but still can't find a friggin' phone that works for me.

I have even given up on Verizon so I'm willing to switch to for instance a GSM network like Sprint/AT&T.

I recently got my 9800 replaced with a SLVR 7c but it's having problems picking up my bluetooth stuff.

So, here's what I need.

VERY LOUD ring volume and the ability to download s NORMAL ringtone ala 9800 and not that fancy sh** that comes with the SLVR that is NOT loud at all.

When someone calls ME, I need a LARGE FONT so I can see WHO it is.

Bluetooth (later version) capable

CANDYBAR, I do NOT want a flip phone

Capability to hook up regular corded headset just in case

Memory for around 3-500 numbers

I LIKE voice dial but NOT necessary

I PREFER BUTTONS for dialing but I COULD consider something like the iphone if it's easy to dial with.

I CANNOT do something like a blackberry, the keys are too small for me to dial. Regular number keypad is enough as I don't text much either.

I don't care about camera'
I dont' care about playing music
I don't care about looking at video
I don't care about any fancy features, I just want a phone that works, that I CAN SEE what's on the screen and that is LOUD!

Price is not that important.

GSM or verizon please.

Thanks

George

BTW Sprint is a CDMA carrier, too. GSM is at&t and T-Mobile.

It's hard to suggest people phones on here who are looking for loud phones with easy to use keys. I would just try a lot of phones in person until you find the right one. And remember, a good phone is useless without good service. Don't pick a carrier just because you like a phone they sell.

You're going to have to test the phones yourself as each person defines "loud" differently...i would suggest you stear clear of thin phones like the SLVR and the U700 as the thinner phones have a tendincy to the quieter and the vibrators ALWAYS suck because of the lack of space...

as for you headphone requirement i do know that all SE phones have an attachment that plugs into the fastport with a mic and a 3mm jack for normal stereo headphones so you will almost always have a headset with you. Most if not all SE phones include this in the package but if not you can find them on ebay for about $5 (with sony headphones)

Nokia N73 is insanely loud for a phone... It has 3 stereo speakers so you can hear it ringing all the time. The ear piece is loud as well so you can hear the person you are speaking with. I find SE phones tend to be more muffled and you can't really hear the person you are speaking with.

Im not very familiar with the N73 but im pretty sure that the stereo in stereo speakers means 2 channels...therefore it makes no sense for there to be a 3rd speaker unless it's either bass or it is simply a secondary mono speaker...
