Can't figure out Verizon plans

If I switch to a smartphone, blackberry or something like the Dare. If I want to use it to browse the internet on the EV-DO network, what am I looking at spending?

I don't need more than 450 minutes. I don't usually go over my 250 texts. But if I wanted to use the internet to browse, check email, look up google maps, how fast am I going to rack up those charges? The smartphones don't use Mobile Web, right?

Am I paying by the MB? How fast does that add up? I can't seem to figure it all out.

The internet plans for the Blackberry and Dare are separate. For the Blackberry, the internet plan is $49.99. For the Dare, the package is $14.99.
