Cant connect my fujitsu siemens laptop to sky. please help!?!?

I also have a F/s lap top the "Amilo"model,my switch on the front right side never worked,so I
bought a Triple Wireless Lan Card..IEEE802 11a 11g 11b then once my BT Hub found it there
was no problems..the wireless card goes in to the slot righthand side of L/top down by the switch
remove blanking plate and insert the card...I suppose you have a hub from sky?.
 
Every time i try to connect it says turn on wireless cability. I presses f1 which is radio waves and it dosnt say its worked? is this because the button isnt working? is there another way to connect? please help!

please could i have step by step instructions? really appretiate it<3<3
