Can't complete a fucking mission *possible spoiler but early mission*

Near the start where you go to the warehouse and you have to kill all of dimitris men.

I keep dying. The one time I did kill them all. The police where fucking outside and shot me when I tried to escape.

Any tips guys?

Use cover, it really helps. Better weapons help too, if you can get ahold of them. Find some Armor too.

That mission is fun as all hell, stock up on ammo before heading there, get some body armor, make extensive use of cover, once you body armor takes enough damage grab the fresh body armor sitting near the main entrance on the other side of the large item you first hide behind
