Can't change between silent/general mode with #

Hi,

i cannot change between silent and general mode with my # key. It only "beeps" and nothing happens.
Anyone else with the same problem?

try to reset phone or even format it... if still the same, goto nokia care centre...

Use the voice command button instead and say "silent"

some N80's have the "held-down #" key programmed as a line-change button

but if you dont have twin lines on your phone or if you have disabled line-change in the settings menu then it wont do anything

no i dont but my N80 is on Orange UK who support twin-lines, so their firmware sets that key-press as the line-change button

when i hold down # it just says # on the screen and goes beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep for as long as i hold the button

ive got an orange n80 (although now generic firmware ) and pressing the # key changes lines

its only available if you specifically pay for 2 lines from your network operator
