Is it not possible to enable/disable flash on Full Auto mode? I know how to do it in manual, but there seems to be no 'Flash Control' option when I set it to auto.
Use the program mode. It doesn't pop the flash at all, I have to. I have an XS and I never shoot in full auto, only "P" Program for many reasons. Read your book you'll find some of them.
