I'm interested in buying a nice camera like one of the two mentioned in the title but I'm not sure which one would be best. D:

I'm looking for high shutter speed, good image stabilizer, and mostly what anyone would look for in a camera?
I was also wondering: is it okay even if the two don't have rechargeable batteries? From past experience, all the cameras that I used that had to have AA batteries lasted less than 10 shots and died out...
So it would really help if someone could help list the pros and cons of buying one over the other~
I've already read the ones on cnet and elsewhere, but I'd love more advice. =]
