Cannot launch game in Mac with CrossOver?

I have a game that I downloaded, in .exe file form, that I tried to install with CrossOver on my Mac. The setup runs perfectly and installs the game, but when I try to run it the screen flashes white for one second and nothing happens. Sometimes the game tries to run but then immediately quits!
