Canelling contract on t-mobile?

Hi i signed up for an 18 month contract about 4 months ago, i dont like the phone anymore and i was wondering, when you cancel the contract do you have to pay of the months you have left? Like im paying £30 a month for this phone and i still have 14 months left do i have to pay 30 pound a month for 14 months after cancelling the contract?
 
Yeah I was in the same situation, best you can do is ask them to lower your contract to a really simple price plan and pay that amount every month til the contract has ended or you'll have to fork up £420 which isn't worth it in the end.
