Hello, I am wanting to do a candy buffet at my reception and want to know how others are doing it or have done it. Were there sites that you used or special touches that helped you out? And help is welcome

Thanks in advance

Pick candy that fits in with the colour scheme of your wedding. Get loads of different glass vases, containers and bowls to put the candy in, or even old-fashioned glass candy jars or martini glasses - a range of different containers would look good. Make sure there are plenty of scoops available. Also provide cute bags or boxes for guests to put the candy into, and ribbons to tie the bags once they're full - again, match them to the colour scheme. Think of the visual impact of the candy buffet too - make it stand out and look impressive, even if this means buying more candy than you actually need. It's better to have too much than too little, and it'll make the whole thing look really impressive. Decorate the buffet table with a matching tablecloth, flowers, ribbons, candles etc. Get a whole range of different candy - lollipops, rock, candy bracelets, gummy bears, jelly beans, m&ms etc, just be creative. Try not to get candy that will get really sticky, melt or spoil easily - wrapped chocolates are probably better than unwrapped ones. Make labels for each jar of candy and attach them with matching ribbons, so that guests know what each candy is - this could be important if anyone has nut allergies or is vegetarian etc. :]
