Canceling my Sprint account?

I want to switch to T-Mobile, but I have a 2 year contract with Sprint. Is there any way that I can cancel my contract with Sprint? Or do I have to finish out the contract with Sprint before I can switch?
I've been with Sprint for a year already.
How would I find out how much I'd have to pay?
