i signed up to a gym membership last September, at this point i would like to add i had no problems paying the amount i was working and my husband. Now i have lost my job and my husband is on reduced hours we are struggling to pay anything let alone a gym fee. I have not approached the gym yet because in there contract it says i can take a payment break but will charge me £10 a month for it no can do if i cancel my direct debit would they go as far as taking me to court because i cant afford ANYTHING even if they go in my bank there is nothing to take out so i would be charged by my bank. I am embarrassed about ringing up and telling all my life's problems and after searching the internet forums etc i cant see that they will be very forthcoming. Any advice would be greatly received
