My present gf was stabbed by her ex bf. Today in court his lawyer brought my name up, saying tht I am dating the girl now. Can any of this information be used to get him out of attempting to take her life? The lawyer is trying to make it look like my gf gets around even thou she gets a bf n keeps him until they do something like try to stab her. So again, the question is, can her reputation be used for a means of why he stabbed her, and can it be used to find him not guilty?

Let me say this about that. Don't argue when you're on the stand. It's the guy's lawyer's job to help his client, and if that means making the good guys look like bad guys, well, that's the way the game is played. Honor the oath you have given. Let the court system work out the rest.

Only if there is past evidence like a police report or hospital evidence where she has tried to take her life. Here-say and slander by the Attorney is not permissible in court.
