...employe meals evn if u dnt eat? my employer deducts 4 dollars out of my check everyday i work. He says its for employee meals. even if i dont eat he still takes 4 dollars a day out of my check for employee meals. i know thats not right. since im only ,making minimum wage im actually making less than minimum wage. ANY LAWYERS OUT THERE! I would like to know if this is illegal?

you should read over the papers you signed after you were offered employment, there may be text in there explaining that all employees were to have 4 dollars deducted from their pay for employee meals, regardless of whether or not they decide to use it.

That is probably illegal. Are you paid hourly or salary? If you are paid hourly, FLSA (minimum wage law) probably applies, although certain exceptions apply for certain jobs. How long has this gone on? Wikipedia FLSA and take a look at the Department of Labor's website, specifically the Wage and Hour Division. In that regard, you can call your local DOL office (every state has them - it is a Federal office) and report your employer anonymously. They will investigate and have the action stopped if possible. If you are salary, and the deduction is part of your employment contract, you are probably out of luck. That is a pretty crappy thing to do to someone making minimum wage. I feel terrible for you.
