Can you wear a 'crinkle' scarf with denim shorts in the summer/fall/spring?

and then like denim shorts.
Does that look okay?

It looks okay, but nothing better. It's just a little busy, you need a solid shirt w/o any decals on it for that. but it would look cute with shorts!
