I have two large wood panels and I would like to paint something on them. while I can use acrylic, I would prefer watercolor. only I don't know if that's possible as I've only painted watercolors on 140lb paper. is this possible? without gesso since that would make the watercolor act differently? how would i prepare the wood? oil maybe?
