Can you use soccer turf shoes on regular grass?

i bought some nike CTR360 Trequartista soccer cleats on nike.com and there really nice but they are for turf and artificial grass which i didnt know. i used them once and the worked normally on regular grass but my friend says i shouldnt have bought them because you can slip... so can they be used on reg. ground? because i dont think I can return them now
