infection? Please help me- I am 6 weeks pregnant and experiencing chronic yeast infections. I have tried everything but they keep returning. I have experienced yeast infections before and used grapefruit seed extract and it has worked great. However I do not know if it is safe to do vaginally during pregnancy...
I am currently taking acidolphis 6 capsuls orally and 3 capsules vaginally per day. 1000IU's of vitamin C daily and Elderberry and also eating no sugar or carbs. Vaginally I am incerting plain yogurt with apple cider vinegar for relief from the discomfort.
Melita - Diflucan (fluconazole) is KNOWN to cause birth defects. It is actually the only treatment my doctor said is not safe or recommended during any stage of pregnancy. Your a doctor?
