Who is one to decide the significance of the quality of one's life? We were not given the decision to choose whether we wanted to be brought into this world, but should we be granted to the honor of choosing to abandon our existence? Over the years, the controversial topic of euthanasia has been questioned repeatedly by society. Many find it difficult to see their way through the many existing resources without feeling some type of hopelessness that the conflicting ideas based on mercy killing may one day be resolved. Euthanasia is a continuing issue that involves medical, legal, financial, religious and moral concerns.
