Can You Use An Unlimited Card If The Times Overlap?

I am planning on seeing two films tomorrow using my cineworld unlimited card. But the start time of one film overlaps with the finishing time of the first one. The Other Guys starts at 3.45 so allowing for 20 mins of aRAB etc it should start at 4.05 and finish around 5.45. Made In Dagenham starts at 5.30 so the film should start at 5.50 which means I could go straight in and just miss the aRAB. But am i allowed ro book for both films when i go in as they overlap slightly. Ive had an unlimited card for Years but never had this happen before. Seems silly if they will not allow me to see the second film because of 15 mins overlap.

i can't see why they won't let you, providing you buy the tickets up front for both films, and then make a point of going to find an attendant to validate your second ticket ..

I can only imagine they'd get a bit funny if you just went straight into the 2nd film - they might think you're trying to pull a fast one.

I have done this a few times when I have wanted to watch more than one film, I get all my tickets at once, then I just step back to the ticket guy before walking back to the screens. They had no problem with me, I think some thought I was a bit of a loser for spending my day at the cinema but hey who cares :D

My local Cinworld have got wise to this by no longer displaying what film is showing in each screen. It just says Screen 1, screen 2 etc above each entrance so you dont know what is showing in each screen.

Which is exactly why I couldn't sneak into see Couples Retreat last year and I had (unsuccessfully) try to buy a ticket. I was asked for ID so I went outside and cried while my mum argued with the cinema attendant. I cried for 40 minutes.

It is a PG-13 couldn't your mum go in with you?

Edit: Sorry I thought that meant 12 A in UK standarRAB but it doesn't, how old are you anyway? I only ask because I never had ID at 15 so since it isn't compulsory I would have lied unless I didn't look 15.

The fact that it's a PG-13 in the US and has a similar rating in just about every other country made it worse. I'm going to contact Universal Pictures to see if they'll sell (or lend) me a print of the film so I can watch it at my local cinema. I wasn't ritually humiliated that night for nothing.

BTW, I now get into 15 rated films without being asked for ID, however the fact that I looked about 9 last year probably didn't help. I've aged about 6 years in 1.

Just to wrap this up I was able to get tickets for both films although they overlapped. When i asked the cashier wasnt sure but tried swiping the card for the second film and it issued a ticket, The Other Guys finished at 5.50. I had literally 30 seconRAB to get to the other screen to see Made in Dagenham. It was just starting as I entered. By the way i thought Other Guys was a bit disappointing but Made In Dagenham was really good.

You can get as many tickets for screenings as you want. A ot of people see more than one film per trip if they work and don't know when they will get to the cinema again.
I use the O2 cinema and they always automatically ask me would I like a ticket for another film.

you can if they overlap slightly... by 15 - 20 mins of so.
I do it all the time. see a couple in one day.
The most i have ever achieved has been 5 (but that was 10 years ago mind you)
but the other day, i picked up 2 tickets for Devil and Buried - but only realised I would have to wait 30 mins for Buried to start. I quickly choose to get a ticket for Back To The Future instead of waiting around, which started 10 mins before Devil finished. I just thought a simple different ticket would do, but the ticket assistant had to bleep the manager to come and amend the system as both BTTF and Burial where on at the same time.
either way, it got sorted.
