Can you use american electronics in other counries? (for when traveling)?

i know one day i will visit other countries mostly in europe.. and i know that i would be carrying a couple of things that need to be charged (computer, music player, phone)
*wanting to know if you can plug such things into the plugs there (in europe)
if not is there such a thing to convert the electricity so i can use them

(i live in america bw)
 
You will need plug adapters, which you can find at RadioShack, Staples,etc. For many motorized or heating appliances, you may also need a voltage adapter.Your laptop computer should not need a voltage adapter because it should have an auto switching power supply. If your device's power supply or charger has a wide voltage range, such as 110-240V and 50/60Hz printed on it, has auto switching power supply, & it needs a plug adapter only.

you need to pay attention to the voltage difference, most of the appliances and electronic devices are working with both 110-240 V electricity voltage, like for the computer and stuff like that which has charging adapter, you really don't need to be worried.
the other thing is right adapter plug, since the plug shape is different there.
find these adapter plugs from best buy, radioshack, even your local electronic store should have one!
