Can you tip on a credit card at Sonic Drive-In?

I know that previously, when you paid with a credit card at Sonic you couldn't leave a tip. Does anyone know if this has since changed? I never carry cash so I always feel bad going to Sonic, paying with a credit card, and not being able to leave a tip...
To clarify, I'm talking about how you can *always* tip with a credit card -- the receipt has an extra line for a tip and a place to give the new total to be charged to your credit card. You can basically do this at every restaurant, I'm just wondering why Sonic still doesn't let you...
 
I don't recommend tipping with a credit card. People can take more than you wanted to tip them. Plus, I'm sure you want to make sure it goes to the person who serves you and not somebody else.
 
Ate there Saturday night and there's still no tip line. You should keep a couple of bucks in your car for when you do. I like the new dollar menu, as I don't eat much. The chicken strip sandwich wasn't bad, but needed mayo and salt.
 
Ya know- I don't think you can tip on a credit card. I know here in Louisiana they just bring your out a receipt with your food when you pay with a credit card and that's it.
