can you tell if you are pregnant days after having sex?

the condom broke...and i'm really worried...and i need to know asap if i am pregnant or not
the condom split, he pulled out straight away, but im really worried, i cant get the mornig after pill because it is after 72 hours....what can i do?
 
well sorry but your just going to have to wait till you miss your period!
 
No. You have to wait until your period is due, or almost. Some tests can tell early, but if they are negative, you have to test again in a few days anyway.

You really need to see your doctor about reliable birth control.
 
Nope. You have to wait at least 10 days. There are blood tests that can detect the hormone extremely early but they're not widely available and they're expensive. Just wait and get a regular blood test or take a urine test if you're late.
 
hiya, the best thing to do is to take a pregnancy test, the expensive ones like clear blue are normally the best for when you want to no asap if you are pregnant. i wish you look in the answer that you want for the test.
 
No, you won't be able to tell until at least a few days before your period is due, if you are lucky and get an accurate result on an early test. Otherwise you have to wait until you miss/get your period.
 
No. You can't know until after the egg has implanted -- usually about 10-14 days after intercourse. And it's best to just wait and see if you get your period.(Which would happen about 14-16 days after sex, if you aren't pregnant.)

If this just happened within the past 72 hours, you need to see about taking PlanB. This will greatly reduce the chance of pregnancy.
 
It is not possible to know just days after. You will only know after you missed your period. Wait it out. wait at least 3 weeks to test otherwise it will just show up negative but you could be pregnant but it would not show up yet
 
You can't tell that soon. Even after you have unprotected sex it could take like a week for you to technically be pregnant b/c the sperm has to make its way to the egg and so on. It takes time so no you wouldn't know this soon. You have to wait til you miss your period and take a home pregnancy test. But if in about 2-3 weeks you start getting symptoms, you could go to the doc and get a blood test.
 
Take the morning after pill, NOW!

By the way, you do NOT have to wait until you miss a period - there are tests sensitive enough to give you a positive result after 10 days. (I did, before anyone disagrees. It all depends on your ovulation pattern.) The test can detect even minute amounts of the pregnancy hormone.

Of course you have to remember that even though a positive result means what it says, a negative result in this case doesn't mean you are not pregnant, so keep testing until you're sure or until you are sure your normal period has started.

(Also bear in mind that what looks like a period might not be one, as I'm sure you know, and you could still be pregnant!)
