can you take a bible with you to marine boot camp?

if it is a small bible can you take it to basic with you?

ok thanks. ya i was wondering about it cause on the list of stuff my recruiter gave me to take all it said was religious scriptures so i didn't know if it meant an entire Bible or just a few notes or something.
 
To boot camp, you should be able to. However, if you get deployed to the big sandbox, expect to have it confiscated. Sad, but true, according to some accounts.
