Can you take a 2001 Toyota 4-runner to drive on the snow?

I want to go snow bording to mountain high, but I dont want to get chains or rent a car, but I am not sure if I can take a 2001 toyota 4-runner to Mountain High. Please Advice.
 
if your 4runner has 4 wheel drive then yes you can, not all 4runners came with 4 wheel drive
