Can you sync with itunes after 4.2.1 IPAD baseband unlock?

Hi
i have jailbroken and unlocked an iphone 3gs on 4.2.1 using redsn0w's ipad baseband unlock.
now i am trying to sync with itunes and i cant...
so my question is can u sync after the unlock
