Can you still join the military if you have to take daily medication?

I take medication for my anxiety/depression. I'm good now because of it. I went to a recruiter for the navy and they said it may be an issue. What do you guys think/know?

If it is a medication that you have to have to live then no you cannot join.

What will happen if you're deployed and can't get meds?

If you were admitted to an inpatient mental health facility, had six months or more of outpatient therapy with a mental health professional and are on medication for the problem it's disqualifying.

You have to be off the meds for I believe one year and have no issues with depression for you to be accepted.
