can you still go to school while your in the military?

im joining the marines but i want to know if i can stilll continue going to college while im in the marines i know you can do it for the army but do the marines have the same program ?

Yes, all branches allow you to go to school. My dad got both his bachelors and his masters while in the Navy so it is possible.

Yes, you can all of the military services offer college. You would just need to talk to your military personnel for more information on how to get enrolled for the college you choose.

Yes, you can take night courses if your schedule allows or take courses on the internet. Most college courses qualify for tuition assistance and they will reduce your extra duty such as duty section so you can go. There are also programs which allow you to go to college while receiving your pay from the service, have your college paid for and go to OCS in the summer. The Marine program is called MESEP.
