We were learning about STD's in school, and we learned that the virus that causes cold sores is a strain of herpes. If you have oral sex can this spread to your partner and give them an STD version of this? we also learned that the STD strain can be spread to your mouth.....so could you be unconciously carrying it in your mouth and spread it to your partners genitals during oral sex? I have never done anything sexual before, but I have made out with people, so is there a posibility that I have herpes in my mouth because they could have had it in theirs? I'm confused and would appreciate your help, thank you
