Can you sell a car w/o the title?

I need to sell my old car but have lost my copy of the title. Seems the only way to get a new copy is by filling out some difficult form from the DMV. Anyone know another way to get a copy??
 
its not that hard to fil out really and if it was your car easy too cost you a few bucks but wouldget a beeter price out of car but sure you dont have to have it just right out a bil of sale or print one out you can find by typing into search box bill of sale
