we have a market stall selling pancakes we have a good set up exlent logo and name ect. and we think the business would sell if we put it on the market we wondered if we can sell the business (we were thinking of other states in australia) and we set up again using same name legally,and if its possible to sell it multiple times? as i understand franchises have royalties,fees ect. we just want to sell for a set price,no ongoing fees if the person buying is made aware (in sale contract) that we intend to keep trading using that name and logo does that make it legal?
can you sell a business more than once using the same name without being a franchise?
