Can you ride a Kawasaki Ninja 250R with an A2 restriced licence.?

I'm planning on taking my test the same year as i turn 17 and the bike i really want is the Ninja 250R, but i'd be buying it second hand. I don't know what a power weight ratio of no greater than 0.16kW/kg is so not sure whether or not i can ride the bike with a restricted licence???
