Can you recommend me some decent DVDs to buy (above average!)

The film industry really seems dead at the moment and I really want to buy quite a few DVRAB to pass some time in the holidays.

Any recent-ish releases would be good (no classics please). There really seems nothing to buy when I've looked through Play/Amazon.

I recently watched Cloverfield (anything sci-fi/disaster is really my kind of thing). I saw Superbad as well which was funny but was not my kind of humour. Watched Severance too which was disturbing and brilliant at the same time.

So far on my list I've got:
Hot Fuzz (can't wait to watch it looks funny!)
Children of Men (seems like my kind of film)
There Will Be Blood (purely due to the reception it got)

I also plan to watch The Dark Knight when I'm back from holiday. Anyway anything from Sci-fi/Action/Comedy/Horror Thanks a lot.
